Supaul. District Officer Sawan Kumar inspected the Community Health Centre, Chhatapur on Thursday and took stock of the health services provided in the hospital.
During the inspection, the DM especially reviewed the progress of investigation of anemia and diabetes and directed the concerned officers and health workers to speed up the investigation work.
DM said that timely health check-up of more and more people should be ensured, so that diseases can be identified at the initial level and timely treatment can be provided to the needy patients.
He also inquired about the health facilities available in the hospital and the services being provided to the patients.
During the inspection, the District Officer himself got his blood and diabetes tested at the Community Health Centre. Through this, he also gave a message to the common people to be aware of regular health checkups.
After this the DM inspected the cleanliness and hygiene arrangements in the hospital premises. He expressed satisfaction over the state of cleanliness in the hospital premises and directed to maintain the system like this.
The District Magistrate directed the concerned officials and personnel to ensure better functioning of health services in the hospital.
Also asked to pay special attention to providing necessary health facilities to the patients on time, keeping the process of investigation and treatment smooth and not allowing the people coming to the hospital to face any kind of problem.
