America sent two Iranian diplomats out of the country

Washington. America sent two Iranian diplomats out of the country. Both reached New York to attend the United Nations (UN) General Assembly and stayed there even after the General Assembly was over.

The US State Department on Monday directed the Iranian mission in New York to leave the US. This information was given in the report of Axios.

According to Axios report, two members of its delegation (diplomats) who came to attend the General Assembly remained in New York. US officials informed the Iranian mission about this on Friday.

After this, a message was again sent to Iran asking both of them to leave America immediately. After this, one diplomat left New York on Friday night and the other on Saturday morning.

It is the latest sign of tensions between the two countries, as diplomatic efforts to end the war are failing and fears of resumption of fighting are growing.

The United Nations General Assembly meets every year at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. It includes heads of state, ministers, diplomats and officials from around the world. The Iranian delegation also came to New York for the same meeting.

Foreign representatives must follow visa and diplomatic regulations to stay in the United States. Their status and permission from the US government determine how long they can stay there.

Valid permission is required to stay in America even after the General Assembly is over. Permission to attend the meeting does not mean that the delegates can stay there as per their wish. If the rules are violated, America can order them to leave the country.

It is noteworthy that in the war that started on February 28, about 7,300 people were killed and 32,314 were injured in Iran. According to media reports, about 1.49 lakh buildings were damaged, affecting about four lakh people.

About 32 lakh people had to leave their homes. This war also affected the health system. 229 health centers and 49 hospitals were damaged. At the same time, Iran had said in April that it had suffered a loss of Rs 24.8 lakh crore due to the war.
