Patna. After meeting Rohini Acharya, former MP Sadhu Yadav has given a big statement regarding her political future. He said that Rohini Acharya has a political future and she will contest from Chapra in the upcoming elections. Sadhu Yadav claimed that this time he will get full support and efforts will be made to take it to the Lok Sabha. Last time, there was division of votes due to some people, due to which Rohini had to face defeat.
Sadhu Yadav, while talking to IANS, made it clear that his recent meeting with Rohini was purely a family affair. Rohini had come from Singapore after about 10-11 months and had expressed her desire to have food at home. After this she came to his house. During the meeting there were domestic conversations and no political discussion.
On Rohini’s political future, Sadhu Yadav said that she has both ability and understanding. He said that Rohini is educated, a doctor and her ex-posts are also resolved. Since she has contested elections once, it would not be appropriate to keep her away from politics. She will contest elections from Chhapra and all efforts will be made to make her win. Holding some people of the party responsible for the previous defeat, Sadhu Yadav said that the votes were divided due to some people contesting different elections and the election management could not be done properly. For this reason Rohini lost by about eight thousand votes. There is a need to boost Rohini’s morale. He also said that from his side he is ready to provide any kind of help related to the constituency.
Sadhu Yadav mentioned his past political contributions regarding Rashtriya Janata Dal. He said that he has also contributed in building RJD and this party is watered with his blood and sweat. Referring to old political events, he said that he had also played an important role during the formation of the party. Sadhu Yadav said that later due to complaints of some people and internal politics, disputes increased in both the family and the party. He alleged that the aim of some people was to weaken the family and they also succeeded in it. Now he does not want any kind of dispute in the family. Everyone should unite and face the political challenge ahead.
On his relationship with Tejashwi Yadav and his political future, Sadhu Yadav said that he wants Tejashwi to move ahead and become not only the Chief Minister but even the Prime Minister. However, he expressed concern about the advisors and outsiders around him. The former MP said that Tejashwi should work with the people of Bihar. If someone wants to move ahead in the politics of Bihar, then the understanding and experience of the people of Bihar will have to be given importance. The politics of the country requires the support of different states, but the role of the people of Bihar is most important in the fight to become the Chief Minister of Bihar. Without naming anyone, he said that some outside elements were creating disputes in the family. He advised that one should stay away from such people and work with the people of Bihar.
Regarding Tejashwi Yadav’s advisors, especially Sanjay Yadav, Sadhu Yadav said that he does not like the role of some people. He said that he does not know how to lie and says only what he feels is right. Tejashwi is my nephew and I want him to reach the top. But, this requires the right path and right people. The contribution and trust of the people of Bihar should be important in Tejashwi’s political journey. He also expressed concern over family members being separated one by one. Sadhu Yadav said that if the branches of a tree are continuously cut then eventually the tree will become stump. Efforts to weaken the family should be avoided.
On the question of Rohini Acharya’s old social media posts and the dispute in the family, Sadhu Yadav said that it is not appropriate to repeat that incident again and again. He said that there is a need to move forward leaving aside things that are about 10-11 months old. Sadhu Yadav said that Rohini has contributed in giving life to her father and her contribution cannot be forgotten. It is also the responsibility of the family and the people of Bihar to honor such contribution.
On the question of not meeting Tejashwi Yadav and his constant contact with Rohini, Sadhu Yadav said that he had met Tejashwi in the assembly. Tejashwi came there, paid obeisance and took blessings. However, the circumstances at that time were such that not much conversation could take place. He is available to meet Lalu Prasad Yadav whenever his health deteriorates. Be it AIIMS of Delhi or the hospital of Patna, he comes to meet whenever needed.
On the question related to Tej Pratap Yadav leaving politics, Sadhu Yadav denied it. He said that participating in any program or reality show does not mean leaving politics. Many leaders have been participating in such programs. There is no need to give too much importance to the past about Tej Pratap. His emphasis is on keeping the family united and moving forward politically. He once again said that Rohini Acharya’s visit to his house was a complete family meeting. She said that she has come to meet her parents, it is their house and she can stay for as many days as she wants.
