Four killed in dumper-Scorpio collision, Chief Minister expressed grief

Lucknow/Muzaffarnagar. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences on the death of four people in a road accident in Muzaffarnagar late on Monday night. He has issued instructions to the officers to reach the spot and provide better treatment to the injured.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Verma, a dumper and a car collided late on Monday night on Laksar State Highway in Purkaji police station area. The collision was so severe that the people in the vehicle got trapped badly.

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and with great difficulty took everyone out and took them to the hospital, where four people died.

The deceased have been identified as iron businessman Adesh Goyal (45), resident of Hari Nagar Mohalla, his sister Nisha (35), Rakhi and Nisha’s daughter Shraddha (14).

Meanwhile, Aadesh’s mother Kusum Devi, wife Ruby and Rakhi’s daughter Vaishnavi are injured. There were a total of seven people in the car, who were returning by car at night after celebrating the 75th birthday of Aadesh’s uncle Radheshyam.

There was a massive collision between a dumper and a car near the Solani river bridge at Gadhiwala on the Purkaji-Laksar State Highway. Four people died in the accident, while three others were seriously injured.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot with the help of Hydra and took out the people trapped in the Scorpio and took the injured to the hospital.

As soon as information about the accident was received, the police team including Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Verma, SP City Amrit Jain, SP Traffic Atul Kumar Choubey, Area Officer Sadar Sunil Kumar reached the spot.

Officials inspected the incident site and took information about the relief and rescue operation. He also gave instructions to provide better treatment to the injured. Necessary legal action is being taken by taking possession of the dumper and its driver.
