Bhagalpur. The police has completely disclosed the murder case of 18 year old DJ operator Durgesh Kumar of Gauripur village of Akbarnagar police station area of the district.
Law and Order DSP Navneet Kumar told during a press conference on Friday that this sensational murder was carried out over a dispute over money transaction. Taking immediate action, the police have arrested two accused named in this case.
DSP Navneet Kumar said that on the day of the incident, the accused had coaxed Durgesh and called him from his house. After this everyone together made him drink alcohol.
When Durgesh became intoxicated, the accused beat him severely and strangulated him to death. With the intention of hiding the evidence, the accused had thrown Durgesh’s body in the bushes near Bhavnathpur garden.
The DSP said that after Durgesh’s disappearance and subsequent recovery of his body, an FIR was registered against his three friends on the application of the deceased’s family members.
Considering the sensitivity of the case, the police conducted raids and arrested two of the named accused – Abhishek and Dilkhush.
Police are interrogating the arrested accused and are engaged in further legal action and investigation to arrest the third absconding accused involved in the case.
