In the next series, Parinaaz and Ananthjeet made a strong comeback and scored 44 points. However, China reached a score of 45 and South Korea also scored 44 points. Now the scores of Indian and South Korean teams were equal but due to better qualification score, South Korean team went ahead of India. Due to this, India stood third and had to be content with the bronze medal.

This was the second medal for Parinaaz and Anantjit in this Asian Games.
