Asian Games Update: Today is the fourth day of the Asian Games 2026 and on Monday, two individual medals came for India in the men's 10m air rifle event. Young shooter Himanshu Dhillon gave a brilliant performance in the end and won the silver medal, while former world champion Rudraksh Patil won the bronze medal.

These two individual medals came just an hour after India won a silver medal in the men's 10m air rifle team event on the fourth day of the Asian Games. Rudraksh, Dhillon and Parth Mane together scored a team score of 1890.1 and stood second after China. With these three medals won by India on the second day of shooting, the country's total medal tally in this sport has reached five. Indian shooters started their campaign with two silver medals in the women's 10m air rifle on Sunday.
India's total medal tally at this major continental event now stands at six, which also includes the bronze medal won by Suchika Tariyal in the women's traditional 60kg mixed martial arts event.
