Sriganganagar. Before Independence Day, security agencies have got a big success in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. The soldiers caught a suspect who was trying to enter the camp of 163rd battalion of BSF located in Raisinghnagar by climbing the wall. Security agencies have become alert after investigation of the accused's mobile phone indicated contacts with Pakistani numbers.
Attempt to enter the camp by climbing the wall-
According to the report given by BSF to the police, at around 6 pm on August 9, a person tried to enter the campus by climbing the camp wall. The soldiers on duty immediately caught him.
After this, the accused was given medical treatment at the local health center and he was handed over to Raisinghnagar police. Based on the BSF report, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
Contact with Pakistani numbers in mobile investigation-
Preliminary interrogation and investigation of mobile phones have revealed that the accused is in contact with several mobile numbers having +92 country code of Pakistan. Investigating agencies have received records of contacts through calls and messages.
Considering the seriousness of the case, now the Joint Interrogation Center (JIC) will also interrogate the accused. The investigating agencies are trying to find out what kind of connection the accused had with these contacts and what was his motive behind entering the camp.
Fear of gathering military information-
According to security sources, it is feared that the accused could have tried to obtain information or photographs related to military activities by entering the BSF camp. However, this is still a matter of investigation and has not been officially confirmed.
The possible danger was averted as the BSF jawans caught the accused in time.

In view of Independence Day, security arrangements have been tightened across the country. Security agencies are taking suspicious activities seriously in a sensitive district like Sriganganagar, adjacent to the India-Pakistan international border.
At present, police, BSF and other security agencies are interrogating the accused and investigating his contacts and activities. Only after the investigation is completed will it be clear what was the real motive behind the attempt to enter the camp.
