Police action is being intensified in the case of death by hanging of youth Bittu Kumar, lodged in Jadiya police station Hajat of Supaul district. On the basis of preliminary investigation, first the Audi officer and watchman on duty were suspended, while now the sword of action has been suspended against the police station incharge Nand Kishore Nandan. Superintendent of Police Sharath R.S. Taking action on Wednesday, Audi officer SI Sobharan Kumar and watchman Anmol Kumar Paswan, who were on duty at the time of the incident, have been suspended with immediate effect. In the preliminary investigation, both have been accused of serious negligence while on duty.
It is being told that due to this negligence the young man in custody lost his life. SP Sharath RS has sent a recommendation to the DIG for the suspension of Jadia police station incharge Nandkishore Nandan. In such a situation, departmental action is being taken against the police station incharge also. Responding on Thursday, SP Sharath R.S. SI Sobhran Kumar and a watchman Anmol Kumar Paswan, who were on duty on Tuesday night, have been suspended. Also, a recommendation has been sent to the DIG for the suspension of the police station chief.
Here, the family members of deceased Bittu Kumar are still holding out hope for justice. He says that unless strict action is taken against all those responsible for the incident, they will not be able to get justice. The family members have demanded a fair investigation into the case and strict action against the culprits. The eyes of the people of the area are now fixed on the next action of the police department and the post-mortem investigation report.
People believe that the entire truth of this controversial matter will be revealed only after the investigation report comes. Meanwhile, some changes have been made at the administrative level as well. Munshi Manoj Kumar, posted at Jadiya police station, has been transferred to Police Centre, Supaul. Whereas SI Rinki Kumari has been transferred to Nirmali police station. It is being told that both the officers were working in Jadia police station for a long time, on the basis of which this routine administrative work has been done.
