In the 22nd over of the Australian innings, Taskin Ahmed made Cameron Green his victim. Green wanted to flick the length ball towards the leg side, but his shot did not connect properly with the bat. The ball went towards mid-wicket, where Mushfiqur Rahim took a brilliant catch.

Weatherald faced 37 balls and scored 23 runs. After Weatherald was out, Travis Head also could not stay at the crease for long. He scored 22 runs, but was out in the next over of Hasan Mahmood.
