In the upcoming IPL season, Pant will now be seen playing for his old franchise Delhi Capitals. After the trade was finalized, Rishabh called Akshar Patel, but Akshar did not pick up his call. Now DC captain Akshar Patel has welcomed Pant in a funny way.

In fact, after the high-profile trade of IPL, Delhi Capitals shared a video on its social media account, in which Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel has made a big revelation. In this video, Akshar told that after the trade deal was finalized, Rishabh Pant had called him repeatedly. But Akshar was spending time with his child so he did not pick up the call. Then at night, when their child slept, they called Pant back and asked, ‘What happened, is there anything important?’

Akshar gave a funny reaction
In response, Pant said, ‘Brother, it is confirmed, I am coming back.’ So yes, our first conversation was like that. We had a general conversation. ‘Come on, you’re finally coming back.’ On Rishabh’s return, Akshar gave a funny reaction and said, ‘If the mistake in the morning returns home in the evening, then it is not called forgetting.’ This thing was in my mind, but I did not tell him. It is my love for her that brought her back to Delhi.
Pant joins DC again after 2 seasons
In the mega auction held for IPL 2025, Lucknow Super Giants bought Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant for Rs 27 crore. However, Pant’s journey with LSG was quite disappointing.
