Tezzbuzz Desk- Yogaguru Baba Ramdev has expressed concern about the growing Gen-Z movement in the country and the resentment of the youth. While talking to the media in Haridwar on the occasion of Independence Day, he raised questions on the education system, paper leaks, cheating and alleged irregularities in government recruitments.
Baba Ramdev said that even today many schools and colleges of the country lack basic facilities like teachers, books, electricity, water and toilets. Whereas, where facilities are available, incidents like copying and paper leaks raise questions on the education system.
He also made serious allegations on the recruitment process for government jobs. Baba Ramdev claims that in many places, during interviews, importance is given to caste, class, community and ideology instead of the qualification of the candidate. He said that such a system causes injustice to the hardworking youth and weakens their trust in the system.
Alleging large-scale corruption in government recruitment, Baba Ramdev said that in many cases transactions ranging from lakhs to crores of rupees come to light. He said that if jobs are distributed after deciding in advance, serious questions will be raised on the democratic system.
Referring to the youth movement, he said that he does not support anarchy, but the flaws in the system also cannot be ignored. He warned that if the problems related to education, employment and recruitment process are not resolved, the agitation may intensify in the future.
Baba Ramdev said that there is still time to improve the system. He stressed the need to increase transparency in education and government recruitment and curb alleged corruption.
Along with this, he also expressed concern over the political environment of the country. He said that the increasing bitterness between the party and the opposition in the Parliament is not a good picture for democracy. He said that instead of mutual conflict, the country should move forward together on issues like education, employment and development.
