Pakistan Vs West Indies Test Series: Currently Pakistan team is on West Indies tour. Test series is being played between both the teams. Pakistan Cricket Boardhas handed over the leadership of the Test team to Babar Azam. Captain Babar Azam has failed in the first innings of the first Test. I want to captain not just one format but all three i.e. Tests, ODIs and T20s. Talks have started that Babar has put a demand before the Pakistan Cricket Board that I will take over the Test captaincy only if the board gives me full leadership in all the three formats.

If the Pakistan Cricket Board accepts Babar Azam’s demand, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi could face a big blow. Shaheen is currently the captain of Pakistan’s ODI/T20 team. Earlier, there was a difference between the two due to his removal from the T20 format and handing over the captaincy to Babar. Now, if Babar gets the leadership of all the three formats, Shaheen is expected to take over the ODI captaincy as well.
