Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Trivendra Singh Rawat has also given a strong reaction. He has expressed the need for strict action in the matter.

SIT investigating officer Mahadev Uniyal said that the investigation of the case is going on. On the question whether some other people would also be involved in this, he said that it will become clear in the investigation. At the same time, Pramod Nautiyal kept silence on this matter. Avoiding the questions of journalists, he moved ahead.
