New Delhi. Security arrangements have been made very tight even before the big demonstration of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) proposed on October 10 in the country's capital Delhi. CJP has announced a demonstration at Jantar Mantar regarding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the issue of SIR. However, Delhi Police has not given permission for this demonstration and prohibitory orders have been imposed.

Keeping the protest in mind, barricading and deployment of police force has been increased in many areas of Delhi. According to recent reports, preparations have been made to close about 40 metro stations, ban app-based cab services and keep about 10 detention centers ready. Apart from this, central armed forces are also being deployed.
At the same time, during the ongoing protests against SIR and Election Commission in Delhi since October 2, hundreds of people including AAP leaders, student organizations and social workers have been detained. Let us tell you that on October 2 itself, there were reports of about 550 people being detained in Delhi.
CJP leaders have alleged that constant pressure is being put on their workers and leaders to stop the October 10 protest. CJP leaders have also expressed fear of possible arrest and said that the protest will continue under any circumstances.
On the other hand, police and administration say that security arrangements are being made to maintain law and order and public safety. In such a situation, there is a possibility of further increase in tension in the capital amid the proposed demonstration of CJP, student organizations and political groups in Delhi on October 10.
