BAN vs NZ ODI Series: Full schedule, squads, live streaming details and all you need to know
New Zealand tour of Bangladesh 2026 will begin with the first ODI in Dhaka on Friday, April 17. Bangladesh are raring to go after their impressive 2-1 ODI series win against Pakistan last month, and the Kiwis are looking to extend their brilliant run in ODIs, having defeated India in their last series in January.
After skipping the T20 World Cup 2026 in India, Bangladesh outplayed Pakistan in their last ODI series at home. Under the new captain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, the Asian Tigers registered a 2-1 series win against Pakistan and have named the same squad for the white-ball series against the Kiwis.
New Zealand are placed second in the ICC ODI team rankings after their brilliant 2-1 win against India in January this year. However, the Black Caps will be without their senior and key players, who are currently playing in the IPL and PSL.
Stand-in skipper Tom Latham leads New Zealand, who have a dominant head-to-head record with 34 wins in 46 ODI meetings against Bangladesh. However, the hosts will fancy their chances with the likes of Mustafizur Rahman and Nahid Rana available after their PSL duties.
