‘Biggest fraud’: Fans brutally troll Suryakumar Yadav after another flop show in IPL 2026
Suryakumar Yadav’s poor run in IPL 2026 showed no signs of ending as Punjab Kings dismissed the right-hander without troubling the scorers at the Wankhede Stadium. The pressure continues to mount on the Mumbai Indians batsman, whose form has dipped sharply this season.
After Mumbai Indians lost Ryan Rickelton early, Suryakumar walked in at number three with the responsibility of stabilizing the innings and building towards a strong total. However, his stay at the crease was cut short immediately as he departed for a golden duck, extending his lean patch in the format.
Another soft dismissal for Suryakumar Yadav
The moment came during third over with a sharp piece of bowling from Arshdeep Singh that did the damage. The left-arm pacer got the ball to move away from the batter, drawing Suryakumar into a drive on the up.
The slight swing found the outside edge and the ball flew towards short third man where Yuzvendra Chahal reacted quickly, moving to his left to complete a neat catch.

Fans react as criticism grows
Fans did not hold back in their criticism of Suryakumar following yet another failure. Many questioned his place in the playing XI, suggesting that he should be left out until he regains form.
Meanwhile, Indian legend Ravi Shastri also took a dig, calling him “Shunya Kumar Yadav” with ‘Shunya’ symbolizing zero or a duck, reflecting his ongoing struggles at the crease.

The moment his chewing gum loses flavor, Suryakumar Yadav decides his innings has also run out of taste—and casually walks back to the pavilion.

Mumbai Indians steady after early blows
Despite the early setbacks, Mumbai Indians managed to recover slightly by the end of the powerplay. They reached 48 for the loss of two wickets, with Quinton de Kock and Naman Dhir counterattacking effectively. The duo ensured that the scoring rate did not dip, keeping the side on track for a competitive total.
Suryakumar Yadav’s form remains a major concern for Mumbai Indians, who are already struggling to find consistency in the tournament.
