Banaskantha RTO crackdown: 300 currency notes burst and 26 vehicles detained in two days

Strict action against motorists who violate traffic rules; Tawai on vehicles including Eco with white number plates

In order to enforce traffic rules in Banaskantha district, Banaskantha RTO has initiated strict action against the violators of the rules. During the last two days the RTO team carried out checks at various places and challan action has been taken against around 300 motorists. As many as 26 vehicles have been detained for violating the rules.

Action is being taken by the RTO especially against vehicles including Ecos running against the rules by putting up white number plates. Following the continuous action of the RTO, there has been a flurry among the motorists violating the rules. It is likely that the checking and action will be continued in the coming days to enforce the traffic rules by the RTO.

Eco driver’s dangerous driving: People’s lives are at stake

Meanwhile, the RTO team was taking action on Tuesday evening. Then an Eco driver drove his vehicle in a high-speed and dangerous manner on the service road of Disa Highway to avoid the pursuing RTO vehicle. Due to this negligent driving of the eco driver, the lives of pedestrians and other motorists passing through the service road were at stake. However, no casualty has been reported in the incident.
