Prime Video has announced that Babita Singh Reporting will premiere on the streaming service on August 28.
The upcoming thriller is directed by Ambiecka Pandit and written by Amita Vyas, with Nimisha Sajayan, Barun Sobti, and Anshumaan Pushkar in starring roles.
Babita Singh Reporting centers on Babita, aka Baby (Sajayan), a suspended police officer in a small Indian town who is used to putting everyone else first.
After her childhood friend is murdered, Babita is determined to uncover the truth while confronting a journey of self-discovery.
Produced by Saurabh Malhotra, Manuj Mittra, and Tina Tharwani, the series comes from Film Squad Productions in association with Act Three, with Sudip Sharma serving as executive producer.
Prime shared the poster on Instagram, with the caption, “one murder, too many secrets awaiting.”
