Belarus dentist may inherit billions of Karina Epstein’s fortune, last phone call before death
Somewhere in Jeffrey Epstein’s estate documents there is a mention of a priceless diamond ring, which was kept for a woman with a marriage proposal. According to a report, the woman is a 37-year-old Belarusian dentist, Dr. Karina is Shuliak. Karina spent nearly eight years as Epstein’s girlfriend, and was the last person Epstein spoke to by phone before he committed suicide in a prison cell in 2019.
Under the terms of Epstein’s will, Shuliak will inherit up to $100 million and a 33-carat diamond ring. Yet, for years, she kept her relationship with one of America’s most notorious figures completely hidden from the public.
But that all changed in late January when the US Justice Department released three million pages of files and emails collected during the Epstein investigation. The documents include thousands of private messages between Shuliak and Epstein and dozens of photographs documenting their relationship. Suddenly, a chapter of his life that had remained secret for almost a decade was revealed to the world.
Who is Karina Shuliak?
According to a review of the documents, Shuliak emerges as a very different person in Epstein’s world. She never identified herself as Epstein’s victim, and federal authorities never considered her a co-conspirator in Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring.
Emails show their relationship was built on money, dependency and control. Epstein called her his favorite and often expressed his love for her. Shuliak was allowed to freely use his credit cards, traveled the world at Epstein’s expense, and received nearly $1 million in cash from him over the years. Epstein also sent thousands of dollars to Shuliak’s parents in Belarus.
The emails included disagreements about sex, orders from a sexual wellness company for couples, and sometimes links to pornographic videos. They also discussed common topics like birth control pills and acne treatments.
Over time, she began to take on real responsibilities in Epstein’s world. She helped manage Epstein’s assets and staff and even played a key role in trying to buy a castle in Morocco just weeks before his arrest in 2019.
Epstein always maintained control over the relationship, but there is no doubt that Shuliak benefited greatly from it professionally, persona
lly, and financially.
