According to the information received, the police took Jahangir Khan around on the streets for several hours in Falta area of South 24 Parganas district. During this, he was seen apologizing in front of the people with folded hands. It is being told that the police paraded them in the area for about four hours. The videos of this entire action went viral on social media, on which people are giving different types of reactions.
‘Pushpa’ is in discussion for four consecutive days
According to the claims being made on social media, police parade of Jahangir Khan is being conducted for several days continuously. In a video that surfaced recently, he was seen wearing half pants and doing sit-ups while holding his ears. While sharing this video, BJP targeted the TMC leader.
BJP posted the video on social media and wrote, ‘The ‘Pushpa’ of West Bengal has finally become a flower. The leader who once used to scare people with the power of power, is today seen holding his ears and apologizing in front of the police. fill as you like.’
The arrest was made from Nepal border
According to reports, the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police had arrested Jahangir Khan on June 8 near the Nepal border. After his arrest, he was brought to Falta area of South 24 Parganas district. It is being told that seven FIRs are registered against him in Falta police station. After his arrest, he was paraded on June 11 also. Now once again videos of him being taken around the area have surfaced, due to which the matter has become a topic of discussion.
Used to call himself ‘Pushpa’ during election campaign
Jahangir Khan’s name has already been in discussion due to political reasons. While campaigning during the West Bengal Assembly elections, he used to compare himself with the character ‘Pushpa’ from the film Pushpa: The Rise. In many public meetings, he also repeated the famous dialogue of the film ‘Pushpa Jhukega Nahi Saala’.
TMC had made him a candidate from Falta seat in South 24 Parganas district, but he withdrew from the field just before the elections and later absconded. Now after his arrest and the video continuously going viral, he has once again come into the center of political debate.
