According to reports, the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police had arrested Jahangir Khan on June 8 near the Nepal border. After his arrest, he was brought to Falta area of ​​South 24 Parganas district. It is being told that seven FIRs are registered against him in Falta police station. After his arrest, he was paraded on June 11 also. Now once again videos of him being taken around the area have surfaced, due to which the matter has become a topic of discussion.

Jahangir Khan’s name has already been in discussion due to political reasons. While campaigning during the West Bengal Assembly elections, he used to compare himself with the character ‘Pushpa’ from the film Pushpa: The Rise.
