Ayodhya DM Shashank Tripathi’s statement

According to a report of BBC Hindi, while giving his reaction on this entire matter, Ayodhya DM Shashank Tripathi said that necessary steps are being taken regarding whatever allegations have been made regarding the offerings at Ram temple. This entire case is being investigated. Based on whatever comes to light in the investigation, further action will be taken and all the information will be made public.

SIT formed to investigate the case

Seeing the matter gaining momentum, Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath The government has constituted a three-member SIT to investigate this matter. This team includes IS officer Vijay Vishwas Pant, IPS officer Kiran S and Special Secretary, Finance Department, Neel Ratan. This team reached Ayodhya on Monday. After completion of the investigation, this team will submit its report to the UP government. At the same time, the opposition parties are raising questions on the SIT and demanding an investigation into the matter by a former Supreme Court judge.

How did the matter of irregularities come to light?

However, this time the matter got political air when Akhilesh Yadav posted it from his social media account and put the state government in the dock. He had also described the government’s position as doubtful.

BJP leader wrote a letter for investigation

On June 7 itself, in a post on X, Akhilesh Yadav wrote that all the members of the temple trust should come together and give an explanation and CCTV footage should be taken to match the figures. As soon as all the people of the trust sit together, the truth will come out, because not everyone is the same. If there is no specific person at the center of suspicion of this disturbance, then what is the importance of any single explanation. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has made eight posts from his X handle in the last nine days regarding alleged irregularities in Ram Mandir donations.

Apart from the opposition leaders, Ayodhya’s BJP leader Rajneesh Singh has also written a letter to PM Modi and appealed to CBI and ED to investigate the dedication fund collected for the construction of Ram Temple.

Vinay Katiyar described it as a serious matter

Vinay Katiyar, who played an active role in the Ayodhya Ram temple movement, has also called this matter serious. Talking to the media, he said that this is a very serious matter. People have been sacrificed at Ram temple. We and Kalyan Singh also had to go to jail. Kalyan Singh even had to resign. At present everyone is a thief. Vinay Katiyar will leave all of them. All of them will run away within two days or remain in jail.

Former accounting in-charge had complained

Mahipal Singh, who was the accounting in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust from January 2021 to May 2022, has also accused him of misappropriation in donations to the temple. When he was serving there, the money offered in the Ram temple was counted under his supervision. He says that when he complained about the irregularities in the offerings in the weekly office meeting, another account in-charge was appointed in his place, after which he distanced himself from the Ram temple.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai has denied any irregularities in the temple offerings. He has said that the Trust keeps conducting audits from time to time. The counting room of the donation box is also audited. The audit of the donation box counting room is done jointly by the Trustees, workers and State Bank employees. Allegations against Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu

Local BJP leader Rajneesh Singh has again written a letter to PM Modi demanding investigation on several points. Pointing towards Champal Rai’s driver Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu, Rajneesh Singh said that no one can carry a pen into the temple, but Tinnu’s car goes inside without any checking. There are many names in this robbery like Tinnu, his nephew Manish Yadav, Lavkush Mishra, Anil Mishra, Anukalp Mishra and Avnish Mishra.

BJP leader Rajneesh Singh further said that today all of them have assets worth crores of rupees which should be investigated. He also said that this is a big chain and these people are its links.
