China Qinghai Earthquake: The earth has been shaken by strong earthquakes in China and Japan. On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Japan and China were shaken by two powerful earthquakes that occurred one after the other. The intensity of the earthquake was 6.3. One person died in earthquake

Let us tell you that an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has occurred in Hasi, Qinghai province of China’s north-western province. According to China Earthquake Network Center, the depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers. According to Chinese state media, at least one person died and four others were injured in the earthquake.

This earthquake occurred in a high altitude area, after which several aftershocks were also recorded. This also included an aftershock of magnitude 4.9. China earthquake administration has immediately started emergency response. All the employees of the coal mines located near the epicenter of the earthquake have been evacuated safely. Meanwhile, rescue teams have reached the spot and are searching for the trapped people. Officials are currently assessing the casualties and property damage.

Hospitals also evacuated patients

Let us tell you that today an earthquake of 6.7 magnitude occurred on Sulawesi island of Indonesia, due to which there has been damage at many places. Due to the earthquake, people came out on the streets. It is known that Palu city of Sulawesi island was destroyed in the strong earthquake and tsunami that occurred eight years ago. About four lakh people live in Palu city. As a precautionary measure, many hospitals also shifted patients, some of whom were on drip, to open spaces.
