What to give children for breakfast every evening is a big and confusing question for every housewife. After returning from school, one has to prepare something for the children which is not only tasty but also fills both their stomach and mind. Most of the children ask for fast food and crispy snacks from outside, but flour and unhealthy ingredients prove to be harmful for their health. If you also want to give your children a restaurant-like taste without compromising their health, then you can make super crispy French fries at home without using flour or cornflour. These French fries, made by giving an easy twist to rice flour, become very hard from outside and soft from inside. Know the easy way to make these healthy and tasty French fries:
-
Required Materials:
Batata: 3-4 pieces (large size)
Rice flour: 2 tbsp
Salt/Sindhaloon: As per taste
Chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
Chaat spices: 1/2 tsp
Oil: As required for frying
Easy way to make:
First of all, peel the skin of the batata. Then cut it into long and uniform strips like French fries. Wash the Kapela Batata strips thoroughly with cold water 2 to 3 times to remove excess starch. Boil water in a vessel and add some salt to it. Once the water boils properly, add chopped potatoes and boil them only for 3 to 4 minutes (about 40% to 50%). Then drain it with water and dry it completely on a clean cotton cloth.
Once the potato becomes completely soft, take it in a bowl. On top of this, mix rice flour, salt and pepper powder gently. A thin layer of rice flour will coat the batatas, which will make the fries amazingly crunchy even without the flour. Heat oil in a pan. In the first step, half-fry the batatas on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes (the color should not change). Then take it out in a plate and let it cool for 10 minutes. Now heat the oil very high, fry the fries again on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes until they become golden and crispy.
Serving Method:
Serve hot French fries with chaat masala and homemade tomato ketchup to children. These homemade French fries made in pure oil are not only delicious but also completely safe for the health of children.
