After this, the last major change took place in 2016 and the prize money of the winning team was fixed at Rs 20 crore. The same amount has continued since then.

Apart from the prize money given to the teams, many individual prizes have also been kept for the players. The batsman who scores the most runs in the entire season will be given a prize of Rs 10 lakh along with the Orange Cap. The bowler taking the most wickets will get the Purple Cap and Rs 10 lakh.
