In the year 2010, the winning amount was increased to Rs 10 crore, while in 2014 it increased to Rs 15 crore. After this, the last major change took place in 2016 and the prize money of the winning team was fixed at Rs 20 crore. The same amount has continued since then.

Apart from the prize money given to the teams, many individual prizes have also been kept for the players. The batsman who scores the most runs in the entire season will be given a prize of Rs 10 lakh along with the Orange Cap. The bowler taking the most wickets will get the Purple Cap and Rs 10 lakh. The Most Valuable Player will be given a prize money of Rs 15 lakh and the Emerging Player of the Season will be given a prize money of Rs 20 lakh.

Apart from this, an amount of Rs 10 lakh each is given in categories like Super Striker of the Season and Fair Play Award. These awards are given to honor the performance of players and teams throughout the season.
