Smart kitchen brand Beyond Appliances has raised ₹110 Cr ($10.4 Mn) in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital and a host of other undisclosed investors.
The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to set up a new manufacturing plant. The plans also feature the startup’s plans to expand into new product segments. Founder Eshwar K Vikas shared with Inc42 that Beyond Appliances will be coming out with its ovens within the next 9-12 months.
On the manufacturing front, Vikas said that the startup is eyeing setting up a new manufacturing facility in South or West India. Beyond Appliances currently operates two facilities in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru and manufactures about 90% of its products in-house.
Founded in August 2024 by Vikas and Rakesh Patil, Beyond Appliances is building connected kitchen appliances like smart chimneys and smart hobs. Its flagship product is an Android-powered chimney equipped with a display that functions as a domestic kitchen management system.
The chimney allows users to access OTT and music applications, set cooking reminders and manage grocery lists through integrations with Zepto and Blinkit. It also features Chef Verse, an app offering curated recipes from chefs, alongside 3D suction technology.
The startup also recently introduced the Cube Chimney, which is designed for compact kitchens and rental homes.
It takes an omnichannel approach to its sales, with 60% of its products being sold online and the remainder offline. The startup claims retail presence across 20 select stores in Bengaluru. Its customer base of around 1,200 users spans Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi NCR.
“We are currently scaling our offline presence very fast. We have about 300-400 touchpoints for customers across GT (general trade) and AT (alternate trade), and exclusive outlets as well,” Vikas added.
The brand is further looking to get to at least 1,500-2,000 touchpoints for the customer as it has signed up with some large format retails. On the exclusive outlet front, the startup operates 3 stores till date with a pipeline of 15-20 stores.
On the financial front, Vikas told Inc42 that Beyond Appliances recorded a net revenue of ₹40 Cr in FY26 but refrained from disclosing the bottom line performance.
The latest round comes a year after Beyond Appliances raised $4 Mn in its Series A funding round which was also led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital.
Beyond Appliances’ fundraise comes as more Indian startups expand in the home appliance market which comes at the behest of consumers spending more on interiors and devices to complement them.
For instance, consumer tech startups like Karban, Fanzart, Magnific, XSCACE, NUOS, Noctics Labs and Glazonoid are building products ranging from designer fans and integrated air purifiers to in-wall speakers, smart switches and home automation systems.
These startups are combining aesthetics with functionality, rather than relying on design alone to justify premium pricing. Karban, for instance, combines air purification, circulation and lighting in ceiling-mounted products, while NUOS integrates automation into premium switch panels.
The category is also creating a new distribution channel through architects and interior designers, who can specify products before construction or renovation begins. Around 40% of NUOS’ home automation sales and 20% of Karban’s sales come through these channels.
As the segment is getting more consumer interest, investors are also bullish to cash on this wave.
For instance, Nester raised ₹19 Cr in a pre-Series A round in February 2026. The startup is targeting the broader home appliance market with products including steam air fryer ovens, toasters and juicers.
Similarly, cooling solutions startup Optimist is building air conditioners designed for Indian conditions. The startup was reported to be in talks to raise about $10 Mn.
