Pregnancy, shares worth 20 lakhs and taunts about old relationships…; What's in the 636-page charge sheet of Twisha Sharma case?

Twisha Sharma Death Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation i.e. CBI has presented its 636-page detailed charge sheet in Bhopal's famous Twisha Sharma death case. After this charge sheet came out, many shocking and heart-wrenching facts have come to light in the case. The report of the investigating agency states that Twisha was going through severe mental pain and constant humiliation at her in-laws' house. In the charge sheet, serious allegations of harassment have been made directly against Twisha's husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law Giribala Singh. According to the investigation, since marriage, Twisha was taunted, abused about her past relationships and her self-esteem was constantly hurt.

constant mental harassment about the past

According to the statements recorded in the CBI charge sheet, when Twisha honestly told her husband Samarth Singh about her past relationships after marriage, discord started in her life. Samarth turned this into a weapon and started taunting Twisha about her past every day. The matter was not limited to this, mother-in-law Giribala Singh also continuously raised questions on Twisha's character. When Twisha's father suffered a heart attack in March 2026, she was still facing immense stress and mental torture at her in-laws' house. After this, she went to her father's house in Noida for some time, but when she returned to Bhopal on March 24, there was no improvement in the situation.

Interference in personal life and tension regarding pregnancy

It has also been revealed in the charge sheet that mother-in-law Giribala Singh used to interfere in Twisha's personal life and constantly asked her questions about her periods. When Twisha came to know about her pregnancy in mid-April 2026, she became extremely mentally confused. She was not able to decide whether it would be right to give birth to a child in this stressful environment or not. When this news reached the mother-in-law through Samarth, a huge controversy arose in the house. On April 17, Twisha was abused and thrown out of the house. After this, Twisha went to her parents' house and tearfully narrated her entire ordeal to her mother and also told about Samarth's drug addiction.

Taunting on share money and job

According to CBI investigation, there were shares worth about twenty lakh rupees in the names of Twisha and Samarth. When the in-laws came to know about this, they started putting heavy pressure on Twisha to transfer the money to her name. She was also taken to the bank branch, but Twisha clearly said that this was her father's hard-earned money and she would not transfer it. Apart from this, when Twisha left her job, her husband Samarth used to make fun of her saying that she did not even know how to speak English, hence she was fired from the job. This environment of in-laws was completely breaking Twisha from within.

Abortion decision and serious allegations

The matter worsened in late April and early May. Both of them reached the hospital in Bhopal, where steps were taken towards not keeping the child. On May 6, when both of them went to the hospital again, Samarth clearly told the doctor that he did not want a child. On the same day, Twisha also got a new job offer, which brought some hope into her life. But the situation became so bad that night that Twisha sent a message to her mother asking her to come and take her from here. Samarth had told him that he could not bear it anymore. After the abortion on May 8, Samarth raised very disgusting questions on Twisha about the father of the child, due to which Twisha was completely broken.

Horrible incident of May 12 and further legal process

On May 12, 2026, once again there was a fierce fight and abuse in the house. Twisha cried and talked to her mother. Shortly after this he died under suspicious circumstances. The CBI charge sheet also cites the CCTV footage of the house, in which Samarth Singh is seen bringing Twisha's body down the stairs. Twisha was immediately taken to the hospital, where she was declared dead. In the post mortem report the cause of death has been stated as suicide. However, CBI in its charge sheet has registered strong grounds of abetment and torture for suicide against the husband and mother-in-law, the final decision on which will be taken only on the basis of the evidence presented in the court.
