New Delhi. On the occasion of 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made many big announcements regarding the youth of the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort. Describing the role of youth as important in building a developed India, he stressed on giving them opportunities for new technology and better education.
AI training to 1 crore youth in a year
PM Modi announced that in the coming year, one crore youth will be given training in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Its objective is to connect the youth with future technology and prepare them to compete at the global level.
Free Online Coaching for Exams
The Prime Minister also talked about providing major relief to poor and middle class families. He said that free online coaching will be provided for preparation of competitive examinations. This is expected to benefit students who are unable to afford expensive private coaching.
Appeal to youth to contribute in nation building
PM Modi appealed to the youth to take active part in the development of the country. He especially gave a message to Gen Z and the upcoming young generation to contribute to nation building with new thinking, technical skills and positive energy. These announcements are being linked to future opportunities of education, skills and employment for the youth.
