Rajat Patidar's rising star withdraws from Asia Cup
Rising Star Asia Cup 2026 will be played in ODI format this year. Due to this, BCCI has included many star T20 players in this team. Rajat Patidar was also given a chance in this team. However, he has now made it clear to the BCCI that he will not be able to play ODIs for now. Due to this, he withdrew his name from the India 'A' team. Patidar is currently recovering from his injury, which will only allow him to play in the T20 format. Although Badoni has replaced Rajat Patidar, Rinku Singh has been appointed as the vice-captain in his place. Along with Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh will now be responsible for making important team decisions.
