Big conspiracy on India’s chicken neck? Concern increased due to claims of former RAW officer, said big thing about Bangladesh

New Delhi: Many types of discussions are coming to the fore in recent times regarding Bangladesh. Meanwhile, some claims of former Indian RAW officer Lucky Bisht have sparked a new debate on security related issues. Through a post on social media, he has said serious things about the alleged terrorist activities inside Bangladesh and the possible threat to India’s security. However, these claims have not been independently officially confirmed. Despite this, his statement has attracted people’s attention regarding security matters.

Former RAW officer Lucky Bisht said in his social media post that the focus of international media is mainly on the political situation of Bangladesh and the foreign relations of its leadership. He claims that amidst this, there is not enough discussion on the alleged terrorist activities within the country. He wrote in his post that the real situation in Bangladesh may be more serious than the visible picture. According to him, some such developments are coming to the fore which require the attention of security agencies.

13 alleged terrorist camps and 174 people claimed

Lucky Bisht claimed in his post that a total of 13 alleged terrorist camps are active in Bangladesh. He also said that 174 people who were accused of being involved in terrorist activities have been released from jail. According to him, if these claims prove to be true, it could affect regional security. However, these figures have not been confirmed by any official government agency or independent source.

Which areas were mentioned?

In his claims, the former RAW officer has mentioned five areas of Bangladesh where such camps are alleged to be present.

Rangpur: He claimed that two alleged camps are active in Rangpur area. This area is considered sensitive due to its proximity to India’s strategically important Siliguri Corridor.

Chittagong Hill Tracts: According to him, three alleged camps exist in this area. He claimed that elements associated with some terrorist organizations may be active here, whose names have been appearing in anti-India activities in the past also.

Sylhet: Lucky Bisht has claimed to have four alleged camps in Sylhet. According to him, the activities here are very confidential and there is a need to be especially cautious regarding this area.

Eye corner: He said that it has come to light that two alleged camps are being operated in this area. According to his claim, there is a possibility of training people associated with some radical organizations here.

Tangile: Tangail is also mentioned in the post. He claimed that two alleged camps are active here and the influence of some fundamentalist organizations can be seen in this area.

These claims of the former RAW officer have started a wide discussion on social media. However, these claims have not yet been confirmed by the Government of India, Government of Bangladesh or any official security agency.
