Big decision of Bihar government, now new system will be mandatory in all schools
Buxar. The Education Department has taken a big step to make the education system of government schools in Bihar more transparent and accountable. Now it is being made mandatory in the government schools of the state to write the toll-free helpline number of the centralized command and control center of the education department.
The purpose of this new system is to provide students, parents and general public the facility to lodge complaints directly so that immediate action can be taken against irregularities in schools. This step will also stop the middleman system and make the education system more transparent.
Work will have to be completed by May 31
As per the instructions of the Education Department, all primary, secondary and higher secondary schools will have to post helpline numbers on the school walls by 31 May 2026. The department has clarified that in schools where this arrangement is not found during inspection after the deadline, disciplinary action can be taken against the concerned headmaster and responsible personnel.
Numbers will be written in capital letters in schools
The government has directed that the toll-free numbers 14417 and 18003454417 should be written in large and clear letters at the main gate of the school campus or at some prominent place, so that it can be easily visible even from a distance. The aim of this initiative is that students, parents or any citizen can directly convey their complaints to the state level without any hassle.
