After the formation of the new government in Bihar, the distribution of departments among the ministers has been completed. Meanwhile, the state government has taken a big decision regarding the security arrangements of both the Deputy Chief Ministers.

Patna: After the formation of the new political system in Bihar, the state government has taken an important step regarding security. State Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav will now be provided ‘Z category’ security. This decision has been taken after the review of the Home Department, the official information of which was released on Saturday.

After this decision of the government, the security arrangements of both the senior leaders have become stronger and higher level than before. In Z category security, a special team of trained security personnel is deployed, who are equipped with modern weapons and security equipment. This security arrangement is given keeping in mind any possible threat and is counted among the high-level security categories of the state.

Decision taken after security review

According to officials, the Home Department had recently conducted a detailed review of the security situation of both the Deputy Chief Ministers. On the basis of this review report, it was decided to increase the security level. The government believes that the security of the top leadership of the state is the top priority and the possibility of any lapse should be completely eliminated.

Meanwhile, it is also noteworthy that former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is now a Rajya Sabha MP, has recently been provided Z+ category security by the state government. Z+ security is considered to be the highest level of security in the country, comprising of highly trained security personnel and state-of-the-art security protocols. Officials said that this step has been taken keeping in mind the security needs of the former Chief Minister and his activeness in public life.

Division of departments complete in new government

After the recent political change in Bihar, a new government was formed on April 15. After this, the distribution of departments among the ministers has also been completed. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has the responsibility of a total of 29 departments, while Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been assigned 10 departments and Bijendra Prasad Yadav has been assigned 8 departments. The government says that this departmental division has been done with the aim of strengthening administrative efficiency and quick decision making.

After the recent changes in the politics of Bihar, rapid reforms are being made in the administrative and security structure in the state. There was a change of leadership after former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went to Rajya Sabha, under which Samrat Chaudhary was elected the leader of the legislature party and took oath as the Chief Minister. The new government claims that it is giving priority to law and order, development and administrative transparency. In this sequence, the VIP security system is also being strengthened, so that the security of the top leaders of the state can be ensured.

The state government clearly says that there will be no compromise in the security of any person holding any constitutional post. The Z and Z+ category security arrangement is a step in this direction, which will strengthen political stability and administrative security in the state.
