Big decision of Central Government: 6 big good news for the countrymen
New Delhi.Taking a major step towards strengthening the country’s infrastructure, the Central Government has approved six important projects worth ₹39,290 crore. Transport, aviation, industry, trade and common citizens will directly benefit from these decisions taken in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government believes that these projects will accelerate economic development and also create new employment opportunities.
These 6 big decisions got approval
1.ATF Price Stabilization Fund – ₹10,000 crore
To provide relief to the aviation sector, the government has approved Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) Price Stabilization Fund. Its objective is to provide financial assistance to airlines companies amid international conditions and fluctuations in crude oil prices, so that air services are not affected.
2.Plan to replace old vehicles in Delhi-NCR – ₹5,041 crore
To reduce pollution in the capital region, the central government has approved a plan to phase out old buses and trucks. Under this, about 2 lakh trucks and 16 thousand buses will be replaced with modern, less polluting or electric vehicles.
3. Rameshwaram-Konark-Paradip Coastal Highway – ₹8,301 crore
Construction of 160.18 km long Coastal Highway has been approved to increase connectivity in the coastal areas of Odisha. This project will boost tourism, fishing industry and business activities.
4.Expansion of National Highways in Telangana – ₹7,597 crore
Several stretches of NH-63 and NH-563 in Telangana will be developed into four-laning. This will strengthen the logistics network in the state and industries will get better transportation facilities.
5.Upgradation of NH-347B in Madhya Pradesh – ₹4,415 crore
A huge amount has been sanctioned to modernize National Highway-347B in Madhya Pradesh and increase road safety. With this, transportation between many districts of the state will be faster and safer.
6.Khagaria-Purnia four lane in Bihar – ₹3,936 crore
This project is being considered a big gift for Bihar. Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Katihar and Purnia districts will directly benefit from the construction of this 143.52 km long four-lane highway. After completion of the project, the journey from Khagaria to Purnia will be completed in about one and a half hour less time.
