Lucknow. Yogi government has taken an important step to provide a safe environment to girl students in Uttar Pradesh and to increase their self-confidence. The Meena Manch running in schools will now be further strengthened at the state level. For this, a special training program will be organized at SIET located in Prayagraj in September.
450 representatives will get training
In this campaign, 450 representatives have been selected from 75 districts of the state. The training will be conducted in different batches, so that the participants from all the districts can be given information about the effective operation of Meena Manch. After completing the training, these master trainers will take forward its activities in the schools of their respective districts.
Emphasis on leadership along with security
In the workshop, special attention will be given to ways to make girl students aware of serious issues like child safety and sexual harassment. Along with this, training will also be given to develop self-confidence, communication ability, decision making and leadership skills.
The aim of the government is that girls can express their views without any hesitation in schools and become aware and self-reliant to face any difficult situation. The expansion of Meena Manch is being considered an important initiative in this direction.
