Big gift to the youth: PM Modi transferred Rs 2400 crore, said – the world is opening doors for India, do not waste the opportunity

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday distributed incentives worth about Rs 2,400 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana here and reiterated the government’s commitment towards empowering the youth and accelerating employment generation across the country.

Addressing the beneficiaries, industry representatives and other stakeholders associated with this employment scheme, PM Modi said that the government is committed to empowering the youth and increasing employment across the country. This is a significant achievement in the implementation of the government’s flagship employment-linked incentive scheme and expands social security coverage across sectors.

This incentive has helped in the creation of 15 lakh employment opportunities across the country. After returning in the morning from a visit to France and Slovakia, the Prime Minister participated in the program and said that the youth of the country are getting unprecedented recognition at the global level for their talent, skills and potential. He said that the world is increasingly acknowledging the potential of Indian youth and the government is committed to ensuring that every youth can transform his or her potential into success.

Modi said, “Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana is not just an employment scheme. It is an initiative to empower the aspirations of the youth for their first job and create a strong bridge between industry and the workforce.” He said that while most schemes focus on either employees or employers, this program supports both equally. The Government stands with the youth starting their professional career and encourages institutions that create new employment opportunities.
