Maharashtra: Every day new facts are emerging in the investigation of Pune’s famous Ketan Aggarwal murder case. Now, during the investigation, the police have found some digital clues which have made the matter more serious. Investigating agencies claim that the main accused Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary used to use code words while talking to each other. To know the real meaning of these words, the police have also seized Sia’s second mobile phone.

Police busy in solving the mystery of code words

According to the investigating officers, investigation of digital records revealed that both the accused used to communicate in certain code words instead of normal language. Police are now trying to find out what these words meant and whether they were related to the alleged murder conspiracy. For this, forensic investigation of the second mobile phone seized will be conducted.

Court refused to extend police custody

The police had demanded from the court to extend the police custody of Sia Goyal and Chetan Choudhary for three more days. The investigating agency said that after the recovery of the new mobile phone, it is necessary to interrogate both the accused face to face. However, the court did not accept this demand and sent both of them to judicial custody.

Re-created incident site

During the investigation, the police also took Siya Goyal to the place where the murder plan was allegedly rehearsed. According to the police, the accused had gone there and rehearsed the entire incident before the incident. Sia also identified the place on the spot, which helped in taking the investigation forward.

Police focus on technical investigation

Police have also recovered the clothes allegedly worn on the day of the incident from Sia’s house. Apart from this, permission has also been sought from the court to conduct polygraph test of both the accused. Investigating agencies say that analysis of digital evidence, mobile data and other technical information is ongoing. On the basis of this evidence, efforts are being made to bring out the entire truth of the case.
