Preparations for Independence Day are going on in full swing across the country, meanwhile, due to bomb threat in the capital Delhi, there has been a huge stir regarding security arrangements. Security agencies have been alerted after receiving bomb blast threats at six important places in the capital, including Delhi High Court and IGI Airport.
After receiving the threat, bomb disposal squad, police and fire brigade teams reached the concerned places and a large-scale investigation was started. However, during the preliminary investigation, no suspicious object has been recovered from any place so far.
Delhi High Court received threat through e-mail
According to the information, Delhi High Court received a bomb threat through e-mail. As soon as information about the threat was received, security agencies were alerted and investigation of the High Court premises was started.
The bomb disposal squad thoroughly investigated several places in the High Court complex. Necessary steps were taken in view of security and security arrangements were also increased in the campus.
