Big update on monsoon: Kerala will reach in 24 hours, heavy rain in these states for next 7 days

New Delhi: The heat has once again increased in many parts of the country including North India. There are heat like conditions in many states. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has given relief news regarding monsoon. According to IMD, South-West Monsoon will hit Kerala in the next 24 hours.

Alert of heavy rain in South India next week   

The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rain in Kerala for the next seven days. There will be heavy rain in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also. Strong winds with a speed of 40-50 km per hour will prevail over North-West, Central and Eastern India as well as many parts of South India throughout this week. There is also an alert of rain with thunder and lightning.

Weather will change in Northeast also   

There may be heavy rain in Northeast India on June 4 and in Arunachal Pradesh between June 6 and 9. There are chances of heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya from June 4 to 7. There will be heavy rain at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on June 6-7. Very heavy rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya on June 8-9.

In South India, there will be rain in North Interior Karnataka from June 3 to 5. On June 3, there will be light to moderate rain with thundershowers over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. Similar weather will prevail in Telangana on June 3-4. Strong winds will blow in Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal from June 3 to 7.

There is an alert of strong winds in Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep on 3-4 June, in North Karnataka on 6-7 June, in South Interior Karnataka from 3 to 5 June, in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam from 4 to 7 June, in Telangana from 5 to 9 June.

Heavy rain in Karnataka-Lakshadweep 

There is an alert of strong winds in coastal Karnataka on June 3. There will be heavy rain over North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal from June 3 to 8. There will be heavy rain in Lakshadweep from 3 to 6 June, in Coastal Karnataka from 4 to 7 June, in South Interior Karnataka from 3 to 7 June. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe from June 3 to 9. Heavy rain may occur over Coastal Karnataka on June 3 and June 8-9, and South Interior Karnataka on June 8-9.

North India weather update   

Jammu and Kashmir in north-west India will receive light to moderate rain with thunderstorms on June 3-4. There will be strong winds on 5-6 June. There will be a period of rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from June 3 to 6. There will be rain with strong winds in East Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and West Rajasthan on June 3-4. There will be strong winds in Western UP on June 5, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab on June 5-6.
