Big update on UCC! Preparation to implement in 21 states before 2029, Amit Shah's big statement

New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a big statement regarding Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He said that the target has been set to implement UCC before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections in 21 states under BJP-led NDA government. According to Shah, steps have already been taken in this direction in many states.

The Home Minister also mentioned the immediate abolition of triple talaq. He said that with this an important step has been taken towards providing equal rights and justice to Muslim women.

NRC also discussed in Manipur

Amit Shah also clarified the situation regarding National Register of Citizens (NRC). He told that work is going on on the process regarding NRC before the census in Manipur. When asked whether 1951 would be made the basis for this or not, Shah said that talks are going on on this subject and discussions are also being held with allies. Information about the final decision will be given at the appropriate time.

Announcement of 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'

On the occasion of completion of 25 years of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, information was also given about running 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' from 17 September to 17 October in collaboration with BJP, NDA's allies and voluntary organizations. Shah said that earlier the BJP had been organizing 'Seva Pakhwada' from September 17 to October 2 on the occasion of the Prime Minister's birthday.

Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, he said that politics focused on development and public participation has been taken forward in the country.
