Big update regarding NEET UG Re-Exam, NTA calls news of paper leak as fake

New Delhi: Many claims are going viral on social media regarding the country’s biggest medical entrance exam NEET (UG) 2026, one of which was the question paper being leaked. Let us tell you, in view of these rumours, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official statement advising students and parents to be cautious.

An attempt is being made to cheat people

NTA has clearly said that the claims of paper leak being circulated on social media, Telegram channels and other messaging platforms are completely false and misleading. According to the agency, some anti-social elements and organized gangs are trying to cheat students by taking advantage of their anxiety and exam pressure.

Social media is being monitored

The agency says that such people try to earn financial benefits by selling fake question papers and wrong information. NTA has clarified that the examination process is completely safe and strict security arrangements have been made to maintain its confidentiality. NTA also said that it is continuously monitoring such misleading content being spread on social media. The accounts, channels or platforms on which such false information is being shared are being informed to the concerned cyber agencies and law enforcement officials.

The agency has warned that creating, sharing or forwarding material related to fake paper leaks is a legal offense. Strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty in such cases. Along with this, while advising the students and parents, NTA has said that they should not trust any unknown person, website or social media post. If anyone claims to provide exam question paper or special material, then keep distance from them and do not make any kind of payment.

NTA has appealed to the candidates to focus on their studies and preparation instead of paying attention to rumours. Every official information related to the examination will be released only through the official website of NTA and through authorized means.
