There is also a possibility of lightning in many areas. The weather in other districts of the state is expected to be relatively normal, although cloud movement and humidity may persist.

Good rain occurred at many places in the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, good rainfall was recorded in many districts including Khagaria, Nalanda, Patna. Due to rain the temperature dropped and people got relief from the heat. It remained cloudy throughout the day at many places, due to which the weather remained pleasant.

Lightning became a big concern

Incidents of lightning along with rain have increased the concern. Many people lost their lives in different incidents of lightning in the last one day. Nawada was among the most affected districts, while there were reports of loss of life due to lightning at other places also. Weather experts have advised to avoid standing under trees and going to open fields during bad weather.

Why is the weather pattern changing?

According to meteorologists, the monsoon trough is currently active around Bihar and its position is constantly changing. For this reason, at some places it is raining heavily and at other places it is only cloudy. When there is no rain due to excess moisture in the air, the humidity increases. At the same time, due to the rapid development of clouds at the local level in the afternoon, thunderstorms and rain suddenly begin.
