Where did the story begin

The story begins with a comment by Supreme Court Chief Justice Justice Surya Kant. According to reports, a comment by Justice Surya Kant went viral on social media, sparking a controversy over the word “cockroach”. Some people linked it to unemployed youth and expressed displeasure over it. However, later clarification regarding this comment also came out. It was said that the comment was not directed at all unemployed youth, but in reference to those taking advantage of it through unfair means. But by then this word had taken a different form on social media.

Who is CJP founder Abhijit Deepke?

The youth adopted the word “cockroach” as a satire and thus began the Cockroach Janata Party i.e. CJP. This digital movement was started by Abhijeet Dipke on 16 May 2026. Now the question is, who is Abhijeet Dipke? Abhijeet Dipke is said to be a resident of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar i.e. old Aurangabad of Maharashtra. He is a political communication strategist. He studied journalism from Pune and then went to America for higher education. He obtained a master’s degree in Public Relations from Boston University, America. Abhijeet Dipke, who has worked in the field of political communication, has also been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. He has been saying that CJP started as a joke and satire, but when a large number of people started joining it, it turned into a big digital movement.

CJP does not call itself a traditional political party

CJP did not describe itself as a traditional political party, but as an online satirical movement. In this movement, unemployment, inflation, examination system, paper leaks and problems of youth were raised through memes and satire.
