Bihar Band: Students are protesting across the country demanding paper leak and resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Its effect is also being seen in many districts of Bihar. Security arrangements were beefed up across the state today in view of the Bihar Bandh call, but incidents of stone pelting and lathicharge have taken place at many places. Along with this, Tej Pratap Yadav has also taken to the streets in support of the students. The police have taken him into custody.

The effect of Bihar Bandh was mixed in Gaya. AISA and RYA workers took to the streets in the city. These people have been protesting since morning. The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Adequate number of soldiers have been deployed by Gaya Police. Along with this, in Madhepur too, a large number of students under the banner of various student organizations took to the streets and demonstrated at College Chowk and raised slogans.

At the same time, the effect of Bihar Bandh was seen in Samastipur. Bandh supporters blocked the road at Patel Golambar in the city and raised slogans against the central government. The protesters set fire to the road, raised slogans and many people expressed their symbolic protest by sitting and lying down on the middle of the road, due to which traffic was affected for some time.

At the same time, a situation of confrontation broke out between students and policemen at Gandhi Maidan in Siwan. During this the students became angry. The police eventually had to resort to mild lathicharge to bring the situation under control.

At the same time, Tej Pratap Yadav, who came out in support of the students in Patna, was taken into custody by the police. Tej Pratap Yadav had come out with his supporters to join the protest. Meanwhile, the police stopped him near Patna Junction and took him into custody. Tej Pratap’s supporters expressed anger after the police action. Supporters raised slogans against the government.
