Bihar government started special service, 1 big good news for citizens
Patna. There is good news for those traveling in Bihar and visiting religious places. The state government has prepared to start a new heli service to promote tourism. Through the Chief Minister Bihar Heli Tourism Service Scheme 2026, people will now get the facility to reach major tourist and religious places by helicopter.
Starting from Maa Mundeshwari Dham
The famous Maa Mundeshwari Dham of Kaimur district has been included in the first phase of Heli Tourism Scheme. This place of religious importance attracts a large number of devotees every year. Many travelers faced problems due to the time taken to reach here by road. With the introduction of helicopter service, travel time is expected to be reduced.
Big plan for common people
The government plans that this facility should not be limited to only special people. For this, the Tourism Department is preparing to provide services through concessional packages. Passengers will be able to avail the benefit of helicopter travel as per the fixed package.
Facility will start with small helicopters
Low capacity helicopters will be used in the initial phase. This will provide passengers with a fast, safe and convenient travel experience. This service will be especially beneficial for those tourists who want to visit religious places in less time.
Preparation to start this scheme from July
The first phase of the scheme is proposed to start from July 15, 2026. This system is planned to run till January 2027. During this period, the success of the service, response of passengers and its impact on tourism will be assessed. After this, other major places can also be added to it.
