Counting of votes took place for more than 50 hours, but the politics of the entire state hinged on the result of Darbhanga. Even after the completion of counting rounds on 14 tables in the graduation elections, the victory or defeat could not be decided. In the 10th round, BJP's Sarvesh Kumar was leading over RJD's Anil Kumar Jha by 1,500 votes. But as the magic victory figure of 31,911 votes did not come in favor of any candidate, the second round of counting was started late on Wednesday night.
After shortlisting 32 candidates on Thursday, the counting of votes of Congress's Rajnikant Pathak was completed first. In this, BJP candidate Sarvesh Kumar was leading by 1,046 votes. But in the final results RJD has won. Anil Kumar Jha has emerged victorious. It is said that all eyes were fixed on the counting of votes of Dr. Imtiyaz Noorani of Jan Suraj. The results of elections held at eight places in Bihar have been revealed.
Let us tell you that RJD has already raised questions regarding the delay in the results. Last night, RJD MLA and strong leader Alok Mehta had warned the government and talked about a big movement. At the same time, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav had also cornered the Election Commission.
