Patna. Bihar Police Sub Inspector Service Commission (BPSSC) has canceled the main written examination of Police Sub Inspector Recruitment conducted under Advertisement No. 05/2025. In the official notice released on Wednesday, the Commission said that the main written examination conducted in two shifts on 27 May 2026 is canceled due to unavoidable reasons. The new date of examination will be announced separately later.
The Commission has advised the candidates to rely only on the information released on the official website of BPSSC for further information related to the examination. The Commission has made it clear that candidates should not pay attention to the information disseminated through other mediums.
Appeal to be cautious of misleading information on social media
BPSSC has asked the candidates to beware of the misleading information being spread on social media and other mediums. In the official notice, an appeal has been made not to pay attention to the misleading information being spread by anti-social elements.
The Commission has also warned to be cautious of brokers in examination related matters. Candidates have been asked to inform the police if any suspicious activity or incident is reported.

In the information issued by the Superintendent of Police of BPSSC, it has been said that separate information will be given by the Commission regarding the new date of the main written examination. In such a situation, candidates have been advised to keep an eye on the official website of the Commission for the new date.
It is noteworthy that Bihar Police Sub-Service Commission organizes competitive examinations for appointment to various posts including Police Sub-Inspector in the state. Under Advertisement No. 05/2025, a large number of candidates are involved in the process of Police Sub Inspector recruitment. After the cancellation of the exam, now the candidates will have to wait for the announcement of the new date.
