Bihar’s new cabinet full of millionaires
After the cabinet expansion in Bihar, now the data of election affidavits regarding the assets of the new ministers has come to light. These figures show that most of the ministers included in the Samrat Chaudhary cabinet are millionaires. The special thing is that the assets of many ministers are more than that of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary himself.
According to election affidavits and available information, 32 out of 35 ministers of Bihar cabinet are crorepatis. There are only 3 ministers whose total assets are said to be less than Rs 1 crore. If the total assets of the entire cabinet are added, this figure reaches around Rs 220 crore.
According to statistics, the average wealth of women ministers is several times more than that of male ministers. Many women ministers are owners of crores and are among the top leaders in terms of wealth.
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has declared assets worth about Rs 6.38 crore in his affidavit. But there are 10 ministers in the cabinet whose assets are said to be more than them. Deputy CM Vijay Choudhary has assets worth around Rs 3.13 crore and another Deputy CM Vijendra Yadav has assets worth around Rs 3.46 crore.
BJP quota minister Rama Nishad is considered to be the richest minister. His total wealth is said to be around Rs 31.85 crore. At second place is Dr. Shweta Gupta, who has assets worth about Rs 29.24 crore. JDU quota minister Ashok Choudhary is in third place with assets worth Rs 22.39 crore.
Apart from this, Shreyasi Singh is reported to have assets worth Rs 7.62 crore, Sheela Mandal has assets worth Rs 9.50 crore, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal has assets worth Rs 9.33 crore and Shailesh Kumar alias Bulo Mandal is said to have assets worth Rs 9.25 crore.
Vijay Kumar Sinha has assets worth Rs 8.81 crore, Kumar Shailendra has assets worth Rs 6.68 crore, Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha has assets worth Rs 4.71 crore and Sunil Kumar has assets worth Rs 5.28 crore. Nishant Kumar, Shravan Kumar, Lacey Singh and Jama Khan are also included in the list of crorepati ministers.
Minister Sanjay Kumar from LJP (R) quota is being said to be the minister with the least assets. His net worth is estimated to be around Rs 23 lakh. At the same time, the assets of Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger have also been said to be less than Rs 1 crore.
