Sugar mills of Bijnor have got sales quota of 3.26 lakh quintals for the second fortnight of September. In the first fortnight it was 2.99 lakh quintals. The government is constantly monitoring stocks and sales.
Bijnor: For the second fortnight of September, the government has increased the sales quota of sugar mills in the district to 3.26 lakh quintals. This will allow mills to sell the prescribed quantity of sugar in 15 days. After the increase in prices in August, the government had tightened the rules regarding sales and stock, after which the inflow of sugar remained in the market and the prices came down.
Increase of honorarium of Panchayat assistants by Rs 3 thousand
Uttar Pradesh government has decided to increase the honorarium of Panchayat assistants. According to the announcement of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, now Panchayat assistants will get honorarium of Rs 9,000 per month instead of Rs 6,000. More than 57 thousand Panchayat assistants of the state will benefit from this decision.
The honorarium amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of Panchayat assistants through DBT. With this, payments will be made directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries and the process of receiving honorarium will be more straightforward than before.
Service security and cashless treatment facility
Along with increasing the honorarium, the government has also announced service security and cashless treatment for Panchayat assistants. Now the head or secretary will not be able to remove Panchayat assistants from their posts. In any case related to Panchayat Assistant, the decision will be taken by a committee headed by the District Magistrate.
It has also been announced to give maternity leave to Mahila Panchayat Assistants. With this, they will be able to get the facility of maternity leave during their service period.
Removed Panchayat assistants will be reinstated
The government has decided to withdraw the cases registered against Panchayat assistants during the agitation. Along with this, reinstatement of the Panchayat assistants who were removed during the action has also been announced.
These announcements of the government include increasing the honorarium and other provisions related to service security, health facilities and service of Panchayat assistants.
