Narayanpur, Jamtara, Jharkhand:- A young man riding a bike was seriously injured in a road accident at around 9.30 am on Saturday morning near the petrol pump at Koridih in Narayanpur police station area. The injured has been identified as Ajmal Ansari, son of Sohed Akhtar, resident of Shibudih of Ahilyapur police station area of Giridih district.
According to the information received, Ajmal Ansari was going from his home towards Jamtara on bike. Meanwhile, a vehicle (MP 15 ZJ 7961) coming from the opposite direction hit his bike near the petrol pump on the Govindpur-Sahibganj main road. He was seriously injured in the accident.
After the incident, with the help of local people, the injured was taken to Community Health Center Narayanpur, where after first aid, the doctors referred him to Dhanbad for better treatment. On receiving the information, Narayanpur police reached the spot, took possession of the vehicle and started investigating the case.
