On the occasion of the birthday of BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan, religious, social and public welfare related programs were organized in different parts of Maharashtra on Monday. Chavan started the day with prayers at Gramdaivat Shri Ganesh Mandir Sansthan in Dombivali. After this, he visited the orphanage, old age home and youth training institute with the family and spent time with the people present there.
Ravindra Chavan reached 'Janani Ashish' orphanage and 'Apna Ghar' old age home and met the people living there. Apart from this, he also visited 'Dombivlikar New Force Academy'. During this, the youth undergoing training and other people shared the happiness of his birthday with him.
Celebrated birthday with citizens
Chavan was welcomed in the affection conference organized by 'Dombivli a cultural family'. Congratulatory programs were also organized on his birthday in various public relations offices of the assembly constituency. Women officials felicitated her, while BJP corporators, officials, workers and local citizens wished her well.
Some offices of BJP in Kalyan-Dombivli region were also inaugurated on the occasion of birthday. Participation of youth was also seen in the programs. The youth belonging to Gen Z wished Ravindra Chavan on his birthday by giving him rose flowers.
Public welfare programs among the needy
On the occasion of Chavan's birthday, home-havan and other religious rituals were organized at many places to wish him long life and good health. Along with this, programs related to public welfare were also organized in different parts of the state.
Under these programs, ration materials were distributed to needy families. Students were given solar panels to promote bicycles and non-conventional energy. The youth were helped in getting driving licenses, while helmets were also distributed keeping road safety in mind.
Blood donation camps and initiatives for senior citizens
Blood donation camps were organized in different areas of Maharashtra under programs related to social and health services. Senior citizen certificates were distributed to senior citizens. At the same time, washing machines and other necessary items were made available in old age homes.
On this occasion, a large number of people including Skill Development and Employment Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLA Mahendra Thorve, MLA Prashant Thakur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers, BJP officials and workers met Ravindra Chavan and wished him on his birthday. Ravindra Chavan expressed his gratitude for the love and trust received from the citizens during the programs. He said that people's belongingness and trust gives them more energy and inspiration in public service work.
